About Bert
I have over thirteen years of clinical
experience in Physical Therapy treating
neurologic, orthopedic and vestibular
patient populations. I incorporate these
therapeutic techniques into each treatment session. Each patient receives focused individual attention every treatment session.
I specialize in Myofascial Trigger Point Release to address these pain syndromes. I believe most pain conditions arise from the constriction of the soft and connective tissues. This treatment consists of locating the Myofascial Trigger Point, sometimes referred to as a “pinched nerve” or “knot” and releasing it with manipulation of the Acupuncture needle. The use of Neurofunction Electrical Stimulation, a low-frequency pulsed current, is added to neuromodulate the tissue which increases blood flow, decompresses nerves, disperse toxins and allows the tissue to regain its normal resting state.
